Howard Rothstein and Roger McKay on Sunday
morning at Cleveland, Tennessee.
One of our many stops for refueling and
nature. We stopped about every 200 miles to make sure no one in the convoy got too
uncomfortable.
A few shots of the convoy
In the northern third of Ohio, my odometer
was getting ready to turn over 111,111 miles. I thought it appropriate that I should cross
that mark at 111 MPH. To keep my point man free of any persecution, I'll not name him, but
he did a great job of watching for any "smokies". He ran point for me and made
sure the way was clear. After I took this shot and came back to a more normal speed and a
more normal adrenaline level (WOW), someone told me over CB that a trucker had said
"Jesus Christ!!!!.....that Impala just passed me like I was going backwards!!"
I was way too busy to hear that!!!
